There are 500,000 touring caravans in use in the UK and the UK production of caravans has been running at 30,000 units per year.

Those stats are phenominal. I didn't realise there was a high percentage of the population that took part in, let alone owned those many caravans.

The caravan insurance companies will be interested in those stats provided. It's impressive though.
